ABOUT: This episode highlights the recording of a jazz band in the studio. The band features Bill Easley on tenor sax, Rueben Wilson on Hammond B-3 organ with bass pedals, and popular session drummer, Vince Ector. Ben is also joined by Grammy winning producer, Jack Kreisberg, and equipment designer Dave Derr. Ben demonstrates the mic placement and signal path associated with each instrument.

ABOUT: In this episode, Ned and Ben join online guitar teacher, David Taub (host of NEXT LEVEL GUITAR), in the studio. Together they discuss the eight-step process David uses to help elevate the casual beginner... to a world-class rocker. But Ben and Ned need proof that David's teaching skills actually work, so they enlist Hubby to learn a few licks. Ben will also demonstrate how to record the guitar in your own home once you have mastered the eight-step technique.

Ben demonstrates the mic placement of a three-piece blues band, while Ned reveals some subtle techniques about playing the harp thru a bullet mic. Nasty Ned is joined by JR Bradfield on the upright bass and Michael Krizan on guitar.
